Chronology
A ranching family in Montana faces off against others encroaching on their land. Forrie J. Smith, who plays Lloyd, is experienced in the rodeo world. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) often seems to "forget" his Montana accent and reverts to the SoCal speaking voice he normally uses. I’ve seen most of Coles’ TV work, but I have to say that when I watched the first episode of "Yellowstone" and for the next few I was so in awe of Rips character and he looked familiar that I had to look up who that handsome dark haired cowboy was and I imagine my shock when it said Cole Hauser !!! I was telling myself NO WAY!! Brilliant, I tell you JUST brilliant !!!
